POC get more leeway in terms of taking time off and/or calling out. Their requests for time off get approved faster than those of non “diverse” employees. Rather than requesting permission to leave early or come in late (frequently) they just send an email saying they will be doing so. Team coverage is unfairly managed, and the harder you work, the more work assignments are given to you if you are not a POC. The seminars about D&I are ridiculous and some are even obscene. If a heterosexual person had a zoom call discussing anal sex and sodomy as normal and acceptable topics of conversation, we would be fired. It flies in the face of decency/morality and is insulting to my religious beliefs. I cannot imagine someone who is Muslim being ok with these kinds of seminars/webinars.
